do i actually have to floss?
Short answer – YES!
Despite what a New York Times author may have tried to tell you, cleaning between your teeth is important for cavity prevention and gum health. If flossing is difficult for you, there are other options to help reduce the bacteria load in that space between your teeth.
Tools like the Waterpik, Proxabrusbes, Soft-Picks, and other non-floss options may be great for you – ask your hygienist about good ideas for your mouth.
